"Grapes of Russia" - the famous Old Believers martyrology compiled by Vygovskiy abbot of the monastery Semyon Denisov. It contains about 70 chapters - the lives of sufferers for the old faith. Written "grapes" in the years 1730-33. Gathering material for the Life of a martyr, Semyon Denisov addressed to both the instruments and to direct participants and witnesses of those events, many of whom were then alive.

"Detection of current documentary evidence establishes a high degree of reliability of historical tradition, placed Vygovsky authors based their writings," - notes EM Yukhimenko.

"Grapes of Russia" was the favorite reading in the Old Believer families. The minutes of searches, seizures acts "schismatic books" routinely referred to it.
