The variety of the natural- geographical and social and economic conditions of the enormous Russian Empire, which exist regional- cultural differences, in combination with the fixed contacts between the Old Faith centers and the regions, the migrations (voluntary and forced), caused the exceptional variety not only of quite starovercheskikh agreements and senses, but also inherent in them cultural-and-general services installations and characteristics. To this should be added the absence in the structure of the "everyday orthodoxy" of the clear boundaries between the old believers and the remaining Russian population (Pokrovskiy, 1973), and frequently also the non-Russian orthodox population. (Il.y). The aforesaid makes with difficult to give any complete survey of the theme designating in the title in the small division, it is possible to attempt to only designate it. As the model model selected Vygo-Leksinskoye Old Faith obshchezhitel'stvo in maritime (Vyg, Vygoretsiya, The danilovskiy monastery - for greater detail, see below), in application to which was for the first time complexly set a question about the cultural heritage of Old-Believers and its value for the people culture generally. Relative to is well studied the vygovskaya book- manuscript tradition, which is been system-forming element of Old Faith culture. In the scientific works of theoretical and practical directivity to the different degree obtained illumination many forms of vygoleksinskogo skill and needelworks (Vinokurova). In the division are also used the materials on other Old Faith centers both connected with Vygom and autonomous or those opposing to it.
