The variety of the natural- geographical and social and economic conditions of the enormous Russian Empire, which exist regional- cultural differences, in combination with the fixed contacts between the Old Faith centers and the regions, the migrations (voluntary and forced), caused the exceptional variety not only of quite starovercheskikh agreements and senses, but also inherent in them cultural-and-general services installations and characteristics. To this should be added the absence in the structure of the "everyday orthodoxy" of the clear boundaries between the old believers and the remaining Russian population (
Pokrovskiy, 1973), and frequently also the non-Russian orthodox population.
