YedinoverieThis is a featured page

The Edinoverie, who are often called Staroobriatsy, Old-Ritualists, are Russian Old-Believer communities who joined the official Russian Orthodox Church while maintaining their own traditional rites. There is an excellent page on them at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edinoverie. This history of them is presented for informational purposes and for discussion.

The Edinoverie seem to be analagous to Uniate churches, which are formerly Eastern Orthodox churches which are in communion with the Roman Pope (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uniate).

All pages on this site that are about the Yedinoverie should be in this category.
